Summary

This wonderful article about 3-D technology, and who invented it Mr. Jeffrey Katzenberg. The writer shows us how the 3-D became important to the movie companies, also money maker. First he talked about how the critics hated the 3-D technology, because it was expansive and made the actors look like board. The audiences did not like it in the Clash of Titans movie, but Mr. Katzenberg did not accept the critics views, and he think that they are old and in denial about the 3-D. Now this technology made revenues become much higher, and that what company likes. The writer gave us some examples like Shrek Forever and How to Train your Dragon movies, moreover how did Mr. Katzenberg helped to improved Disney Company .The 3-D had jumped the incomes from $15million in 2006 to $151 million for 2009 ,so the writer gave examples to show us this technology is successful.
Reaction
The 3-D technology is great, but it makes Tickets to Attend a movie much expansive ,yet Mr. Katzenberg did not give up on his Invention, so he show me that the real Businessman look to the future and see what does the future need or want. Moreover I think the 3-D most of it made to the kids movies, so paying much more to see a kids movies are bad idea, however I was impressed about the Huge income that came with this technology, and as business student I liked it .Mr.Katenberg is great example for a Successful businessman, because he understand what did the movie market needed to improve movies, and take a big step to the future. Moreover, Disney made almost all their movies now using this great technology .

However the writer said that he started this company because his colleagues use this kind of service but none of it made them feel good or comfortable. And then he started with black, 24 foot long Mercedes Benz with great qualities, like hardwood floors, WIFI, etc. Also the writer showed us the cost of the car which was $45,000 and plus the $ 55,000 for the make over to the limousine. However the Mr.fertin started to buy new limousine from his saving and a loan from TCF bank. His partner Mr. James Dahl said that the company started unknown but now everyone knows it. The writer showed us the rate of the rent which is $200 per hour with minimum of three hours to rent. Also Mr. ferting thinks in 2010 the income will $900,000. Some of the qualities in the company are the drivers, because the consumer wants to be comfortable to give him the address without being scared. Mr. ferting plane to launch hub in los Angeles, and he hope it will be like the plaza hotel .

Reaction
Mr.fertin showed us how every business worker must have should be thinking. I really loved this article because this kind of people I hope to be like them. When Mr.ferting lost his job, and his job was very important, he did not make the bad news about losing his job stopping him to be success again.
When a business have an idea, the idea must be something that people need or want ,but they do not  find it. From his knowledge about limo, he knew that there is something missing in it.also I think his drivers are chosen in great ways and he gave them a good salary. However the driver high profile made the consumer feels comfortable, which made his consumers happy and more loyal to the company. Mr.ferting planes to launch his new hub in los Angeles, where is the high rollers are living. His idea to make his company like the plaza hotel is great, and he also said that every consumer are important equally, like when he said ‘ even if you are th Sultan of Brunei, you need to book a room like everyone else’
He meant like the plaza hotel.

Lynn, M. (2010, Nov). The Rich are Meaner. Bloomberg Markets PP. 44

Summary

In the article, the writer talks about the rich people are starting to be much meaner now than the last ten years. Moreover he shows us what the biggest banks managers said and agreed about it, however the writer adds some studies from some universities to prove or to support his main idea ,also the writer shows us some of the rich people asked for hard or unreasonable requests like what Mr. Gerard Aquilina said that they wanted some concert tickets or other strange requests. Yet he shows some of the private banking mangers made them to be like that by making them feel they are rich because they are so smart, and they are different from other people. Also the improvement of the financial market made the rich people more valuable to the financial companies that are trying to have the rich people’s big accounts in their companies.

Reaction
I really enjoyed this article for many reasons; first I used to work at bank for two years, so I saw what the bankers in privet banking do to make the rich people or consumer happy. Also to fulfill anything they ask for to make sure that they will never take their money to anther bank. .however in my opinion some of the rich people who made his money from the first cent he have the right to be mean because the hard time he have been Through when he was poor ,yet this is in my opinion . Moreover this problem caused by the banker them self by spoiling them with doing anything they wants ,and never said no to them .I didn’t know the big Similarity between the Saudi banks and the US banks in many ways like the role of never say no to the rich people ,therefore made them meaner than before . on the other hand not all rich people like that ,from
my experience I saw some great rich people were very good with us .in the end, I think I will use this article in my career to improve the ways to deal with them ,also I will try to find anthor ways to make the rich people put their money in my company.
